A Series of Unfortunate Events

After careful consideration of the options set before me, I have decided to pull the plug on the podcast.

This is not because of the dangers this has presented to myself. I have been more than willing to go down for this cause I stand for. This is due to what is now beginning to affect others who are not involved with my conflicts.

I have just received word from the hosts of The Sibling Rivalry Podcast that they have been receiving harassing and threatening phone calls to their homes by someone who calls himself "Mikel Bruce" due to their having interviewed me on their show.

At this time, I believe it would be morally irresponsible for me to continue fighting this when innocent bystanders are beginning to be affected. This constant stream of blind hate, cyberstalking, and libel tactics from those at Perverted Justice against uninvolved Libsynners is, in my opinion, reprehensible. Nevermind how wrong people might consider me or what I believe in, a solid line is crossed when this form of criminal act is laid upon the rest of the public. No matter how those on the sidelines might feel about me closing shop, I think it is my personal responsibility to respond to this abhorent action duly. I am clearly dealing with people who have no scruples or honor.

To all LibSynners, I humbly apologize for any stress, trauma or harm this might have caused you. In my opinion, the residents of LibSyn are what is going to save free speech in this country and around the world. You are breaking the rules of what "acceptable media" is in this country. You are putting shivers down the spines of the established industry. You are the generation of a new wave of free speech, and damnit, if it's not justified then we're all going to hell in a hand basket. Give'em hell.

To Dave Chekan and the rest of the staff from LibSyn, words cannot express how grateful I am to your efforts and for standing by my right to speak in the midst of such tyranny. If it weren't for you, this show would not have been the success it was. If it weren't for your strong convictions to put aside personal feelings, and allowed me to speak out about this crucial issue facing society, the 36,000 downloads and listeners who subscribed and listened to my show would have been left in the dark, suffering just a bit longer. You are truly the bastions of free speech.

To those who do not like me and who purport to understand "what I'm about" yet are blind and deaf to your own ignorance, intolerance, and bigotry--those who have wished for my imprisonment for merely practicing my 1st Amendment rights, and would wish me dead or publicly humiliated simply for being attracted to minors--I pity you. Time will show just how hypocritical and lost you are. No matter if you are a religous fanatic, a person who had been abused in their past and is angry (and rightly so), a person who is closeted and self-loathing, or just some lemming who believes everything you hear, your brutal actions will not be forgotten.

To all the boylovers and girllovers out there who are of good moral character and who appeared on the podcast or supported it, I want to thank you for the everlasting supply of emails, feedback, and thanks that I have received over the last 14 months. Not only have you shown the world that we are a voice to be reckoned with, but you have put a human face on this issue that can never be wiped away.

This has been a hell of a journey for me. I believe that I am now a better person because of this show. I've learned and understand more about myself, and I hope that others along for the ride have too. This is the story of a misunderstood aspect of humanity--one that has been vilified and manipulated into something it is not. The constant barrage of negative influence by the media, the public, government and law officials, and through the stereotyping of people attracted to something which is not "appropriate" or is considered "harmful" need only look at the dire consequences of your actions to realize that the ends do not justify the means. We are a red herring for a problem much larger than us. The entire industrialization of children as property--as lessers--is currently being turned on its head by this little invention called "The Internet".

As God is my witness, this is not over. The injustices done upon hundreds of thousands of minor-attracted-adults and disinfranchised youth will surface, and the truth will prevail. Whether it takes 50 years or 50 centuries, these wrongs will be righted.
